Software Demo Engineer Position Responsibilities/Qualifications The Software Demo Engineer supports the Sales Team in acquiring new customers and selling into existing customers. They are responsible for finding the right solution for a Salesperson’s Lead, and advising the Salesperson on which products will fit well with that Lead. The Software Demo Engineer is also responsible for demonstrating the solution to the Lead, answering questions, and presenting the value proposition. Additionally, the Software Demo Engineer is responsible for gathering product enhancement and competitive product information and reporting these to the Development and Marketing teams. Responsibilities: Find the right solution for a Salesperson’s Lead Demonstrate the solution to the Lead in remote web based as well as tradeshow booth demonstrations Answer questions appropriately for the Salesperson and for the Lead Guide the preparation of standard or custom demonstration environments for all Datatrak Products – including sandboxes Assist with recommendation of product/services estimates for inclusion in formal customer proposals Provide feedback to Software Engineering regarding product update/enhancement requests Provide feedback to Marketing on competitive product market intelligence Required Experience: Highly technical with a strong interest and aptitude for technology Minimum of two years of previous technical sales consulting experience Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills Solid analytical and technical skills Exposure to formal sales methodologies Excellent organizational and time management skills Excellent customer service skills Eager to learn Ability to create processes and workflows within a given framework High level of emotional intelligence Must be comfortable working in a wide range of environments Good presentation skills Ability to travel   Submit resumes and specify position to Laura Stuebbe at careers@datatrak.com.
