Alex has been Datatrak's CEO since 2021 and its chairman since 2016. Prior to that he worked in the financial services industry for a decade. He earned degrees from the University of Southern California, Loyola Law School, and Georgetown University Law School.

Michael Raykhinshteyn
QA Director
Michael Raykhinshteyn joined Datatrak in 2013 as a Software Quality Engineer, where he spent the next decade advancing the reliability and performance of the company’s core software platforms through rigorous code testing and quality oversight. In 2024, he stepped into a leadership role as Manager of the Software Implementation & Validation group, directing project management activities, trial design, validation processes, and continued core code quality operations.

In 2026, Michael was appointed QA Director, assuming strategic responsibility for the company’s Quality Management System (QMS), leading internal and client audit programs, overseeing company‑wide training initiatives, and guiding QA validation efforts for the Datatrak software platform. He holds a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering and brings more than two decades of experience in IT‑related fields to his role at Datatrak.
Patrick Smith
Product Manager
Patrick is an alumnus of Texas A&M University’s colleges of Computer Science and International affairs. After joining Product Management at Datatrak in 2012, he’s supported in various managerial capacities in operations, quality assurance, and solutions management before joining the executive team as VP of Product.

Internally Patrick is Datatrak’s product expert, and serves as an communicator and educator both within the company and externally with its clients. He builds the roadmap, oversees its execution, and serves as a keystone across the company. If you’ve seen the Datatrak platform, you’ve probably spoken with Patrick.
